Gold’s Gym – Member Etiquette & Club Guidelines
To help create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members, we ask that everyone follow these general guidelines while using the facility.
Please note that these guidelines are not all-inclusive. Gold’s Gym reserves the right to interpret and enforce club policies as needed to maintain a positive member experience.
Membership & Access
• Members must check in upon entry.
• Memberships must be registered under the member’s full legal name as it appears on a valid government-issued ID; Gold’s Gym reserves the right to request identification at any time and may deny access if identity cannot be verified
• A current member photo is required for entry to verify identity and prevent membership sharing.
• Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
Gym Floor Etiquette
• Return all weights and equipment to their proper place after use.
• Wipe down equipment before and after use.
• Refrain from dropping or slamming weights and making excessive noise.
• Use spotters and collars when necessary.
• Keep personal items near you and out of high traffic areas.
• Appropriate clothing and athletic shoes are required on the gym floor.
• Independent or freelance personal training, coaching, or instruction of other members is not permitted. Only authorized Gold's Gym trainers may provide personal training services.
Equipment Safety
• Adhere to the manufacturer’s warnings and instructions on equipment.
• Report any hazardous items or malfunctioning equipment to a team member immediately.
Member Courtesy
• Please be courteous and respectful of other members and team members.
• Be mindful of cell phone usage and filming or photo taking inside the club.
Privacy & Cameras
• Photos, videos, or camera use are strictly prohibited in locker rooms and restrooms.
• Members should be mindful of others when filming or taking photos anywhere in the club.
• Gold’s Gym reserves the right to require members to stop filming or photographing at any time to protect member privacy and comfort.
Gold’s Gym team members may provide additional guidance to help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for everyone in the club. Failure to follow club guidelines or team member instructions may result in suspension or termination of membership.
